Mobility Manager

This position is responsible for direct outreach to employers, employees, human service agencies, and other entities in a multi-county public transportation system.

  • Provides information to the public regarding the transportation services provided throughout the state.
  • Responds to client issues in a timely and appropriate manner and consistently makes logical decisions to address their needs.
  • Ability to effectively present information to agency staff, clients and public groups
  • Performs data entry activities to ensure the proper, thorough and timely documentation of client and trip information.
  • Assures compliance with all state and federal guidelines

Professional phone etiquette, attention to detail, strong customer service and organizational skills are required. The ability to make logical decisions regarding customer service, operational procedures, and policies of the agency is necessary. Processing real time client and driver feedback regarding pickups and deliveries in a manner that enables Mid-Cumberland to provide quality customer service is necessary.

The Transportation Director evaluates Job performance. Full benefits, 40 hrs/week. EOE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience to perform necessary functions of the job. Good computer and customer service skills. Experience dealing with the public Pass Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Meals-On-Wheels Site Manager-Humphreys Co

Location: Waverly Meals-On-Wheels Site

Hours: 25 hours/week

Duties:

  • Monitor food temperatures

District Long-Term Care Ombudsman Director

The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program provides advocacy and complaint resolution for residents in long-term care and assisted living facilities, helping ensure quality of care and protection of resident rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program operations and ensure adherence to state and federal protocols
  • Recruit, train, and support Ombudsman staff and volunteers to maintain required credentials
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and reporting per monitoring standards
  • Engage community partners to promote program awareness and secure additional funding
  • Provide direct advocacy and complaint resolution for facility residents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional or volunteer experience with older adults
  • Valid TN driver’s license and auto insurance

Skills:

  • Strong mediation, investigation, and advocacy abilities
  • Knowledge of residents’ rights and care standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, case documentation and state reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Work Environment:

  • Office(TBD) and field-based; regular travel to long-term care and assisted living facilities

Surveillance Officer-Rutherford Co

The part-time position is located out of the Rutherford County Office and involves conducting home visits of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to the Community Corrections Program for Rutherford County while ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of probationers through home visits
  • Maintain accurate case documentation to comply with program policies
  • Provide testimony in court as required
  • Assist with drug screens

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in working with felony offenders
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed and confidential information
  • Valid Driver’s License

Must have a reliable source of transportation and mileage reimbursement offered. Duties to be performed in clients’ home include general household tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, etc.; personal care including bathing, feeding, transferring and toileting; meal preparation; errands; emotional support; budgeting; community resource building; etc.

Part-Time Positions are available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. $10 case rate with work available during the day, evening, or weekend.

Duties Include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.
