+ COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS SURVEILLANCE OFFICER- Murfreesboro, TN

The position is located out of the Rutherford County Office and involves conducting home visits of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to the Community Corrections Program for Rutherford County. Activities associated with this position include home visits, and maintaining the documentation necessary to comply with program policies and procedures. Additional activities include providing testimony in court and assisting with drug screens . Job responsibilities require experience in community corrections, law enforcement, or related field. E.O.E.

$14.74 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, College degree preferred but not required or 4 years related work experience; experience with offenders, valid Driver’s License.

+ Program Director/ Rural Planning Organization Coordinator (RPO Coordinator)

The RPO Coordinator assists with rural transportation coordination and planning projects within Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, and Stewart Counties.

*Coordinates rural transportation initiatives and serves as a liaison with local government officials and the Tennessee Department of Transportation-Long Range Planning. The successful candidate will assist in the development of Rural Regional Transportation plans, Corridor Management Agreements, and various transportation plans. Participates in regular collaborative opportunities with metropolitan transportation planning organizations, rural transportation consultation organizations, cities, and counties.

*Reviews new and established federal, state, and local plans and policies and makes recommendations for implementation. Maintains a comprehensive, current knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, programs, codes, regulations and standards; conducts research and maintains an awareness of new issues, methods, equipment, trends and advances in the profession; reads professional literature to stay up to date with best practices; maintains professional affiliations; participates in continuing education activities; attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions as appropriate.

*Attends meetings, serves on committees, and represents the Middle Tennessee RPO at various statewide events; coordinates and organizes Executive Board meetings for the Middle Tennessee Rural Planning Organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four-year university with an B.A. or B.S. Degree in: Business Administration, Urban or Regional Planning, Public Administration, Geography, Transportation or related field. Experience in business management, transportation planning and program management; Geographic Information Systems (GIS) helpful but not required. Note: Training is available for entry-level business professional.

+ Misdemeanor Probation Officer-Lewis & Perry Counties

This full time position is located out of Lewis & Perry County and will be working out of General Session Court. MCHRA is a non-profit local government which offers great benefits, TCRS and insurance packages. This Position involves the supervision and monitoring of misdemeanor probationers. Activities associated with this position include direct supervision through office visits and establishing needed supportive services, maintaining the documentation necessary to comply with program policies and procedures. Additional activities include providing testimony in court, assisting with electronic monitoring, collection of fees, and maintaining case management database. Job responsibilities require experience in case management, phycology background and treatment services, law enforcement, or related field. E.O.E.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Graduation with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 2 years related work experience. Four year degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, management or closely related field. Four years work experience will be considered if it is in a related field. •Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders; ability to follow program procedures and make appropriate decisions. •Strong interpersonal, decision making, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed and confidential information. • Salary Range ($35,000). •Preference given to residents of these counties.

+ Regional Customer Service Representative (CSR)---Dickson Office

This position is responsible for answering calls, scheduling and dispatching in a multi-county public transportation system. Responsibilities include answering these calls in a timely and professional manner while entering accurate and complete trip data into the Ecolane software, processing real time client and driver feedback regarding pickups and deliveries in a manner that enables
Mid-Cumberland to provide quality customer service is necessary, communicating with Lead Drivers to produce an efficient, doable schedule in a timely manner.

Professional phone etiquette, attention to detail, strong customer service and organizational skills are required. The ability to make logical decisions regarding customer service, operational procedures, and policies of the agency is a must. Processing real time client and driver feedback regarding pickups and deliveries in a manner that enables Mid-Cumberland to provide quality customer service is necessary.

The Transportation Director evaluates Job performance. Full benefits, 40 hrs/week. EOE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience to perform necessary functions of the job. Good computer and customer service skills. Pass Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and background check.

Additional activities include providing testimony in court, assisting with electronic monitoring, collection of fees, and maintaining case management database. Job responsibilities require experience in community corrections, law enforcement, or related field. E.O.E.

$19.18 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of qualifying full time professional experience in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Law Enforcement, or closely related field. Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders; ability to follow program procedures and make appropriate decisions. Strong interpersonal, decision making, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed and confidential information.

Duties Include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.
