The position involves the management of multi-county in-home services for eligible participants. Position will supervise Davidson County. The incumbent must be able to provide oversight of daily operational aspects. Duties associated with the job include ensuring compliance with existing governing regulations as well as operational guidelines and policies/procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining good working relationships with funding agencies, clients, staff, and the community at large. The incumbent will be responsible for all staffing within their service area including recruitment, job assignment, evaluation, discipline, and scheduling. The incumbent will complete field assessments, reassessments and service plans. The incumbent must possess significant organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills for successful job performance. This position requires significant local travel and on-call responsibilities. The position is based in Davidson County.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four year college with a Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, HealthCare, Gerontology, Nursing or related field with at least twenty-one quarter hours in behavioral health, social work, psychology, sociology, or home economics required; experience in program management and supervising the activities of support staff; strong decision making and organizational skills; significant communication and interpersonal skills; experience monitoring budgets; or any equivalent combination of education or experience.

This performance based position hinges upon maintaining an adequate case load and the Victim Advocates ability to assist clients in gaining a support system to navigate their trauma. Other duties of this position include engaging in community outreach activities, continuing education on victim trauma and other additional requirements as requested by the Regional Manager. Part-time position stationed at the Fairview Meals-On-Wheels site. Duties associated with the position include packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, completing reports and other documentation, recruiting volunteers, ability to generate awareness and excitement in the community about the program to help in fundraising, daily paperwork, and outreach to the senior community. Other responsibilities include monitoring food temperature, completing in-home assessments, and participating in special events and functions. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients.

+In-Home services program technician (floater)

Full-Time position with regional travel as well as some nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, document all work performed, be self-motivated, and have a reliable source of transportation. Candidate will provide essential in-home supportive services to elderly, disabled, or handicapped individuals. This individual is responsible for maintaining Welcome Function and resource room activities including directing customers and assisting American Job Center customers with job searches, resume assistance, and other re-employment services. This position works under the direction of the One Stop Operator and is responsible for performing customer service duties for a multi-program office. This position will assist customers both on the phone and in person by assessing their needs and providing assistance as needed in the Resource Room and Welcome Function. In addition to this, the Career Advisor will promote job openings for local businesses and assist area employers in finding quality employees.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Moderate to advanced computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to instruct customers in using computers, fax machines, copiers and other technology.
