Meals-On-Wheels Systems Specialist

Full-time position stationed at Mid-Cumberland’s central office in Nashville. The incumbent will be responsible for technical and administrative work assisting with the coordination of daily activities for Meals-On-Wheels & Senior Dining. Activities will include but are not limited to assisting with program correspondence, data entry, file management, preparing reports and financial data, and providing assistance with daily program operations. Incumbent must be dependable, well organized, solution oriented, and able to monitor and interpret data making appropriate independent decisions. Job duties require strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making/problem solving skills, significant experience in office organization and administration. 40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required; clean background, driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task & prioritize job related activities, accuracy and attention to detail. Computer skills required. Significant experience with Windows and Microsoft Office with extensive experience including word processing, spreadsheets, form development, and computerized databases required.

Youth Career Specialist – VOCA (Youth CAN) Davidson County

This full time position involves determining eligibility of young adults that are victims of crime, completing paperwork on clients with extreme attention to detail and providing follow-up case management. This individual is responsible for providing intensive case management to eligible VOCA/WIOA clients in a designated service area. This performance based position hinges upon maintaining an adequate case load and the Victim Advocates ability to assist clients in gaining a support system to navigate their trauma. A key component of this position involves the ability to utilize technology to accurately maintain client records and financial expenditures. Other duties of this position include engaging in community outreach activities, continuing education on victim trauma and other additional requirements as requested by the Regional Manager. Potential to serve Davidson, Sumner and Wilson counties. Some travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Social Sciences, Psychology or similar discipline preferred.

• Advanced computer competency/literacy skills are required.

• Applicants must have the ability to quickly learn computer software applications and follow directions in completing Victim Advocate Specialist requirements

• Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt in a rapidly changing atmosphere

• Desire to make a positive impact in the workforce development of the Middle Tennessee by working directly with local employers as well as diverse and low income youth populations

Regional Scheduler-Dickson

This position is responsible for administrative and dispatching activities associated with a multi-county public demand response transit system, at the regional office located in Dickson, TN. Activities associated with this position include: Scheduling for multiple county operations according to client’s needs, taking client calls as needed, and assisting with the maintenance of records and data. Additional activities include ensuring that schedules are available to drivers in a timely and accurate manner and assisting with unexpected or unanticipated trips. Job responsibilities require dedicated attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make logical decisions regarding scheduling trips for clients. Job performance is evaluated by the Operations Coordinator. 40 hrs/week. EOE

Billing Specialist

This position is responsible for administrative work involving the daily regional operations of a large multi-county public demand response transit system operating in the Mid-Cumberland region of Tennessee. Activities associated with this position include assisting with the investigation and resolution of issues with in house and contractors billing. Additional duties include insuring compliance with existing policies and procedures regarding billing. Job responsibilities require good organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, and experience with Windows, Microsoft Office 2010 or newer, basic database knowledge and basic Microsoft Outlook abilities. Regional Coordinator

This position is responsible for administrative and supervisory work involving the daily regional operations of a large multi-county public demand response transit system operating in the Mid-Cumberland region of Tennessee. Activities associated with this position include insuring compliance with all established federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to public transportation, assisting with the investigation and resolution of issues with contractors, funding sources, county staff, and clients. Additional duties include direct supervision of staff, insuring compliance with existing policies and procedures, and various responsibilities associated with system operations. Job responsibilities require strong organizational and supervisory skills, ability to make effective decisions regarding departmental operations, strong interpersonal skills, and experience managing a program preferably involving transit services. This position reports directly to the Transportation Operations Coordinator. 40 hrs+/week. EOE

Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency's In-Home Services provides essential services to elderly and disabled individuals within their own homes. Part-Time Positions are available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. $10 case rate with work available during the day, evening, or weekend.

Duties include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.


In-Home Service Regional Coordinator

The position involves the management of multi-county in-home services for eligible participants. Position will supervise services within Davidson & surrounding counties. The incumbent must be able to provide oversight of daily operational aspects. Duties associated with the job include ensuring compliance with existing governing regulations as well as operational guidelines and policies/procedures. The incumbent will complete field assessments, reassessments and service plans. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining good working relationships with funding agencies, clients, staff, and the community at large. The incumbent will be responsible for all staffing within their service area including recruitment, job assignment, evaluation, discipline, and scheduling. The incumbent must possess significant organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills for successful job performance. This position requires significant local travel and on-call responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four year college with a Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, HealthCare, Gerontology, Nursing or related field with at least twenty-one quarter hours in behavioral health, social work, psychology, sociology, or home economics required; experience in program management and supervising the activities of support staff; strong decision making and organizational skills; significant communication and interpersonal skills; experience monitoring budgets; or any equivalent combination of education or experience.
