+ Administrative Assist III

This position will be located at Mid-Cumberland’s Davidson County office working Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The incumbent will have executive level administrative duties, be responsible for preparing general financial reports, verifying financial data as well as performing other general finance and administrative functions. Occasional attendance at community meetings may also be required.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of office management experience in a professional setting

• Intermediate MS Office, corporate correspondence, data tracking

• Mature, dependable, well organized, solution oriented

• Self-motivated, efficient, productive, and works well with a team

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited high school or GED program supplemented by some college course work in business accounting, office administration, or closely related field; strong organizational, decision making and interpersonal skills; and experience working with computerized software applications.

+ CREVAA Advocate—WEST (Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Stewart, and possibly Montgomery and/or Williamson.)

The Advocate will locate, coordinate, and ensure the provision of both emergency and long-term victim-centered services and resources to elder and vulnerable adult victims of crime. The Advocate will also facilitate meetings, conduct education, and outreach events to inform stakeholders and the public about the CREVAA program.


• Must possess an undergraduate degree from a four year college or university.(Social Services/Work or Gerontology preferred) AND

• The equivalent of two years of full-time work experience with at least one year in aging, case management, social services and /or advocacy, or related fields.

• Pass a criminal background check.

• Travel is required for this position- must have reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Case management and grant management experience

• Public Speaking and Outreach experience.

The Advocate should also possess the following qualities:

• Ability to engage effectively in problem solving and empower others to do so.

• Skills in communicating effectively with diverse populations.

• Experience and/or education in gerontology or vulnerable adult services and programs.

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to elder and vulnerable adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to establish working relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Ability facilitate, coordinate, and lead meetings of stakeholders and the general public

• Ability to manage multiple activities while meeting deadlines.

• Performing other CREVAA related duties

+ In-Home Services Program Specialist-Davidson Co

The incumbent will be responsible for Electronic Visit Verification systems maintenance, scheduling, and reporting. Position may assist with invoicing, reporting, and billing all services including grant and program services. The incumbent will serve as a liaison between clients, program staff, and Managed Care Organizations to coordinate delivery of in-home care. Incumbent will assist with training and quality reviews and incident reports as needed to ensure the highest quality of care. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for data entry, customer service, maintaining file systems, and other duties as assigned.

Candidate must be able to follow instructions, document all work performed, be self-motivated, and work independently in a fast paced environment, stationed in Davidson County. Full-time position with work to be performed primarily Monday through Friday days with on-call responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma/GED required with additional experience in social service or home care; experience with data entry, electronic visit verification systems, scheduling, or billing; considerable experience providing administrative support; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; ability to monitor practices to ensure program compliance; ability to make effective presentations; or any equivalent combination of education and experience to complete required duties. Applicant must possess clean background check, reliable transportation, and 100,000 vehicle liability coverage.

+ In-Home Service Coordinator

The position involves the management of multi-county in-home services for eligible participants. The incumbent will be responsible for Quality Assurance and Improvement as well as in-home field assessments, reassessments and service plans. The incumbent must be able to provide oversight of daily operational aspects. Duties associated with the job include ensuring compliance with existing governing regulations as well as operational guidelines and policies/procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining good working relationships with funding agencies, clients, staff, and the community at large. The incumbent may be responsible for recruitment, job assignment, evaluation, discipline, and scheduling as needed. The incumbent must possess significant organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills for successful job performance. This position requires significant local regional travel and some on-call responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four year college with a Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, HealthCare, Gerontology, Nursing or related field with at least twenty-one quarter hours in behavioral health, social work, psychology, sociology, or home economics required; experience in program management and supervising the activities of support staff; strong decision making and organizational skills; significant communication and interpersonal skills; experience monitoring budgets; or any equivalent combination of education or experience. Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency's In-Home Services provides essential services to elderly and disabled individuals within their own homes. Part-Time Positions are available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. $10 case rate with work available during the day, evening, or weekend.

Duties include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.
