+ IN-HOME SERVICE REGIONAL COORDINATOR-Nashville

The position involves the management of multi-county in-home services for eligible participants. Position will supervise Davidson County. The incumbent must be able to provide oversight of daily operational aspects. Duties associated with the job include ensuring compliance with existing governing regulations as well as operational guidelines and policies/procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining good working relationships with funding agencies, clients, staff, and the community at large. The incumbent will be responsible for all staffing within their service area including recruitment, job assignment, evaluation, discipline, and scheduling. The incumbent will complete field assessments, reassessments and service plans. The incumbent must possess significant organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills for successful job performance. This position requires significant local travel and on-call responsibilities. The position is based in Davidson County.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four year college with a Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, HealthCare, Gerontology, Nursing or related field with at least twenty-one quarter hours in behavioral health, social work, psychology, sociology, or home economics required; experience in program management and supervising the activities of support staff; strong decision making and organizational skills; significant communication and interpersonal skills; experience monitoring budgets; or any equivalent combination of education or experience.

+ WIOA Youth Career Specialist-Anderson County

This full time position involves determining eligibility of potential youth clients, completing paperwork on clients with extreme attention to detail and providing follow-up case management. This individual is responsible for providing intensive case management to eligible WIOA youth clients in a designated service area. This performance based position hinges upon maintaining an adequate case load and the Career Specialists ability to assist clients in meeting their career and educational goals. A key component of this position involves the ability to utilize technology to accurately maintain client records and financial expenditures. Other duties of this position include assisting in the Welcome Function of the local American Job Center, engaging in community outreach activities, continuing education on WIOA legislation and other additional requirements as requested by the Career Services Manager. Some travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Social Sciences or similar discipline preferred.

• Advanced computer competency/literacy skills are required.

• Applicants must have the ability to quickly learn computer software applications and follow directions in completing Career Specialist requirements

• This individual is responsible for data entry duties and program administrative functions. The position entails multiple job assignments and requires excellent interpersonal, data management, organizational, and communications skills.

This full time position involves determining eligibility of young adults that are victims of crime, completing paperwork on clients with extreme attention to detail and providing follow-up case management. This individual is responsible for providing intensive case management to eligible VOCA/WIOA clients in a designated service area. This performance based position hinges upon maintaining an adequate case load and the Victim Advocates ability to assist clients in gaining a support system to navigate their trauma. A key component of this position involves the ability to utilize technology to accurately maintain client records and financial expenditures. Other duties of this position include engaging in community outreach activities, continuing education on victim trauma and other additional requirements as requested by the Regional Manager. Potential to serve Rutherford and Williamson counties. Some travel is required.

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Social Sciences, Psychology or similar discipline preferred.

• Advanced computer competency/literacy skills are required.

+ Meals-On-Wheels Site Manager – Springfield

Part-time position stationed at the Springfield Meals-On-Wheels site. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, document work performed, be self-motivated, and have a reliable source of transportation. Duties to be performed include packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, completing reports and other documentation, recruiting volunteers, ability to generate awareness and excitement in the community about the program to help in fundraising, daily paperwork, and outreach to the senior community. Other responsibilities include monitoring food temperature, completing in-home assessments, and participating in special events and functions. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients. Monday-Friday, 20-25 hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED; clean background, driver's license, reliable transportation, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi­ task & prioritize job related activities, accuracy and attention to detail. Basic computer skills required and an interest in working with older adults.

Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency's In-Home Services provides essential services to elderly and disabled individuals within their own homes. Part-Time Positions are available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. $10 case rate with work available during the day, evening, or weekend.

Duties include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.

This supervisory position involves directly overseeing field supervisors for the following Mid-Cumberland WorkForce Services Programs: Title I, Youth CAN, SCSEP, Opportunity NOW, VOCA, and RESEA. Activities associated with the job include office management and working directly with Career Service Managers in accordance with LWDA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with program regulations and policies as established under WIOA and Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency. Responsibilities include providing support and guidance to supervisory field staff; interacting with personnel from funding agencies; and, if requested by the Operations Manager, attending contractor’s meetings, and conferences. The Programs Administrator serves as direct reports for Career Service Managers who are responsible for oversight of County Career Specialists and programs under Mid-Cumberland WorkForce Services throughout Tennessee. This position may be responsible for overseeing Career Service Manager duties as needed.

This individual is responsible for coordinating and providing formal and functional supervision to American Job Center Staff and partner programs, as well as serving as the direct supervisor for MCWFS One Stop Operators across the State of Tennessee. A major component of this position involves creating staffing plans, ensuring coordination of partner programs and providing means to meet common operational needs for the American Job Centers throughout the Local Workforce Development Area. This position works under the direction of the Operations Manager and is responsible for the timely completion of required paperwork for Mid-Cumberland Workforce Services, the Local Workforce Development Board and the State of Tennessee. Meticulous attention to detail must be given to all paperwork, forms and training development materials.
